Black History Month
The University of Illinois at Chicago's Black History Month program commemorates the cultural uniqueness of African Americans. All events are open to the general public and the UIC community of students, faculty, and staff.

Black History Month Passport
$250 Book Scholarship for UIC Students
This year the Black History Month planning committee is proud to introduce a passport program to encourage UIC students to attend our events. Any current UIC student who turns in a passport stamped at five or more Black History Month sponsored events will be entered into a drawing to win a $250 book scholarship! Six scholarships are available, provided by:
• Blues Cabaret Silent Auction
• Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Blacks
• The UIC Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Affairs and The UIC Honors College
• UIC Bookstore
