Spark in the Park
The Spark in the Park 2013 lineup is here! We are happy to announce that this year’s event features Kendrick Lamar with special guests Chance The Rapper, Frankie Knuckles, and Griz. Also appearing is UIC student opening act, J. Larroc.
Spark in the Park, UIC's music festival, is a free private event open to UIC students, faculty, and staff. All attendees MUST have a valid UIC i-card to enter the festival. Please note that there are no tickets on sale for this event. Spark in the Park will take place on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Harrison Field, corner of Harrison and Halsted streets. Doors open at 3:00 p.m., with the festival scheduled to run from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Attendees who arrive early will get a free Spark in the Park rally towel! Food will be available to purchase on site.
