Programs for the Development of Women Administrators in Higher Education

The Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Women (CCSW) invites women faculty, academic and professional staff who seek to advance within higher-education administration to submit applications for an intensive administration-training program. The CCSW will accept applications from women who currently are employed as faculty or in administration. The selected candidate will apply for the Harvard Management Development Program which runs for two weeks in June and July, the Bryn Mawr Summer Institute which runs for four weeks starting in June ending in July, and Leadership Illinois Program, which is a year-long program divided into three components.
Submitted applications will be screened and ranked by the CCSW. After review, the selected candidates' documentation will be forwarded to the appropriate programs. Application fees, room, board, and transportation costs will be covered by CCSW. Time away from the University will not be charged to vacation or sick leave. Actual program attendance will be contingent upon the availability of the program and funds.
