This year we crafted a maternity leave policy for graduate students. Our research was presented to the Graduate College for a more coherent Leave of Absence Policy for graduate studentss. The revised Leave of Absence Policy has been approved by the Executive Committee of the Graduate College, and Associate Dean Amy Levant has indicated that the new policy will take effect in Summer 2005. The Graduate College will begin the process of informing the University community and updating its website.
