The Chancellor's New Student Welcome is a chance for new students and old to party with the Chancellor, Provost, Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs and representatives from UIC athletics. The event happens sometime in the beginning of the academic year in the fall semester. Meet the people who run UIC, voice your concerns, become known or just come for the FREE hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers! There will be music, games, prizes, and an outdoor movie; popcorn will be provided, of course. Also, class pictures will be taken. So come and greet your friends, meet your fellow students while learning what UIC is all about.
