Letter from Editor

Well, it’s back to the grind. Hopefully, a month away from classes gave you time to recharge and get ready for the Spring semester. Your trusty Campus Programs staff has been working hard to fill the coming months with plenty of activities and performances to keep you entertained and energized throughout the second half of the school year. Now is the best time to get involved, meet new people, and take advantage of the programming that you’re paying for with your student fees. Before too long you’ll be swamped with homework and studying, so jump in now and make sure you get some much-needed fun time to keep you sane between now and finals.

Here are some things to look forward to:

  • The reading series will be bringing authors to campus for your enjoyment and running the annual student writing contest.
  • The fashion show, the largest student-run event on campus, is coming up.
  • Three more Friday Night Live events
  • More movies, music, and karaoke.

It all adds up to a fun-tacular Spring semester. That’s right, fun-tacular.

So, we may be back in class, but look on the bright side: the weather is only going to get warmer, there’s a truckload of activities and programs planned for organizations and the student body, and you’re reading The Source.
