UIC Campus Shuttles

One of the easiest ways to get around UIC is the free campus shuttle. The stop at BSB is the Morgan Street Stop. Go HERE to obtain shuttle maps and schedules.

Public Transportation

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) offers an inexpensive way to travel around the greater Chicago area through buses and trains. BSB is easily accessible by the Blue Line train (UIC-Halsted Stop) or by Bus #7 and #60. The #7 and #60 both stop right in front of the building, and the Blue Line is about a 3-minute walk. The basic fare for CTA buses and trains is $1.50 a ride, and $.30 for two transfers within the following two hours. For more information, check out the CTA webpage.

The Metra trains are a great way to travel to and from Downtown Chicago if you plan to go to the outskirts of the city. It's a couple of dollars more than the CTA, but it is well maintained and air-conditioned. The nearest Metra stop to BSB is the Ogilvie Transportation Center, located near Clinton and Madison. It's about a 15 minute walk through Chicago's Greektown to BSB.
