Sept. 25: Walter Podrazik quoted in this article in a California paper/website about the closing of its public-access TV service.
Sept. 28: Congratulations to Miao Feng, whose co-authored paper “Framing the Chinese Baby Milk Scandal: A Comparative Analysis of the Chinese and US Media” has been accepted for publication by the Asian Journal of Communication. She is the first author and the paper is based on her master’s thesis.
Oct. 4: CBS 2 interviewed Steve Jones, UIC distinguished professor of communication, about the introduction of Apple's iPhone 5 today. The segment is scheduled to air today on CBS 2's 5 p.m. newscast.
Oct. 16: Professor Kevin Barnhurst appeared on Extension 720 with Milt Rosenberg, last Monday, Oct. 11, 2011, 10 p.m.-midnight, on WGN Radio, on the following segment:

Oct. 25: Congratulations to Gonca Noyan, whose book chapter `Media`s Response to Terrorism and its Effects on the Coverage of Social Movements: An Analysis of Media Frames Employed in Anti-Globalization Movement Coverage` was included in the book titled If It Was Not For Terrorism: Crisis, Compromise and Elite Discourse in the `Age of War on Terror` published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
