Hui-Ching Chang, Associate Professor & Director of Undergraduate Studies
Interpersonal and intercultural communication, communication theory. Included in Who's Who Among Asian Americans (Gale Publishing Company), 1994. President of Association for Chinese Communication Studies, 1995-1996, Visiting Scholar to Graduate Institute of Communication, National Taiwan University, 2003-2004. Has received several grants and top paper awards for her research, and has been invited keynote speaker for international conferences. Also a trained mediator for UIC's Dispute Resolution Service. Currently on editorial boards, among others, of International & Intercultural Communication Annual and Howard Journal of Communication. Publications have appeared in Discourse Studies, Research on Language and Social Interaction, Journal of Language and Social Psychology, Journal of Asian Pacific Communication, and International and Intercultural Annuals.
