Communication technology processes and effects, organizational communication (internal and external). Has developed methods for: automated statistical content analysis of: Internet & Web content, organizations' messages, news, and open-ended survey responses; mathematical models for generating optimal messages for influence campaigns; and measuring message effects. Teaches courses related to communication technology, organizational communication, public relations, interpersonal communication, media & society, research methods and statistics.
