Rebecca Ann Lind, Associate Professor
On the University of Illinois at Chicago faculty since 1992, she now serves as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research. A former broadcaster and print journalist, she has taught a variety of courses, including race and gender in media, processes & effects of mass communication, media ethics, and mass communication theory. Her main research interests are audience studies, race and gender, new media, and media ethics; she has published numerous articles on these topics and has received a variety of grants to support her research. She also studies research integrity and research-related ethical issues. Her edited volume Race/Gender/Media: Considering Diversity Across Audiences, Content, and Producers was published by Allyn & Bacon in 2003.
