Christina Zimmerman, Assistant to the Head
Christina has a wide range of experience in the field of Communication. Most recently she developed technology for e-learning initiatives and curricula in the health care industry. She has held appointments as instructor, advisor, and program director with Barry University, and Miami Dade College, among other academic institutions. Previously, Christina worked in public relations for the President’s Office at Lewis University. She worked as a reporter, a web content editor and an advertising representative. She also has experience filming and editing documentaries. Her academic research focused on media law, presentation of news and media effects, persuasion, and feminism in film.
