About us

The Commuter Student Resource Center (CSRC) offers a variety of programs, services, and amenities in our space for students at the University of Illinois-Chicago.

Our Mission
The three main goals of the Commuter Student Resource Center (CSRC) are to provide programs, services, and facilities that enhance student learning and result in student success for our diverse and demographically changing student body.

About Us
A subdivision of Student Development Services, the CSRC is a new asset to UIC's campus, created specifically to serve our commuter student population. Defined as any student who lives off campus, UIC's commuter students make up 85% of the University's students.

Get Involved with Us
In order to ensure that all of the needs of the commuter student are met, we encourage student and faculty participation to give us feedback on commuter issues. Learn more about joining our Student Advisory Board, and give us suggestions on how we can better serve you; together with the Faculty Advisory Board, we can determine how to make the most of such recommendations. To get updates to the programs and services we offer, please sign up for our listserv by clicking here and sending an email from the address you want to add.
