Commuter Connection Day

A yearly event for incoming, first-year students, Commuter Connection Day allows students to interact and meet other incoming students before classes being. Typically held on move-in day for residential students, Commuter Connection Days in the past consisted of a scavenger hunt, speed networking, and informative workshops.

An invitation is sent during the summer to incoming students and Commuter Connection Day is an RSVP only event.  If you are an incoming student for 2013, look for your invite in email around July 15 or click the link to the right to register. 

Important Information about the day:

• You must attend all day. Do not plan to attend if you will arrive late or need to leave early.
• The event is free to attend and a lunch coupon is given at the end of the day for a local cafe. 
• You must RSVP to attend.
  
• The deadline to RSVP is August 1; however, because we have a limited number of students we can accommodate, you must RSVP.  RSVP's are accepted in the order they were received, factoring in when they received the email.
  
• Once you fill out the form to RSVP, look for a confirmation email about three business days after you register. It will include information on locations and more details like attire and what to bring with you.

9a.m. to 9:30a.m.            Check-in, light refreshments
9:30a.m. to 10:30a.m.    Welcome and speed networking
10:30a.m. to 11a.m.       Workshop sessions 1
11a.m. to 11:15a.m.       Break
11:15a.m.-11:45a.m.     Workshop sessions 2
11:45a.m.-12:30p.m.     Scavenger hunt of campus and UPass pickup
1:00p.m.                           Closing reception and tour of Commuter Student Resource Center; get lunch coupon and prizes
                                            awarded for Scavenger hunt
