The UIC Office of Testing Services (OTS) serves two major groups: the students and academic units of The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and the general population of metropolitan Chicago. OTS is a leading member of the National College Testing Association (NCTA).
OTS provides test administration, test
information, test evaluation, and test scoring services.
In addition to administering well over 30,000 exams annually, OTS also
scores more than 250,000 classroom exams each academic year, and answers
thousands of walk-in and telephone inquiries.
OTS is located in the Student Services
Building (SSB) at 1200 West Harrison Street, Chicago, IL 60607 on the East Campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago.
A short distance south and west of Chicago's Loop, on the northwest corner
of Racine and Harrison streets (1200 West, 600 South), OTS is readily accessible
by public transportation as well as by car. The CTA's
Blue Line stops one half-block north of SSB on Racine street, and each
of Chicago's major expressways passes within a few blocks of the UIC campus.
SSB is located across the street from the UIC Pavilion, and is within short
walking distance of abundant public parking. For
