:: September 10-11, 2010 - Orthodontic Alumni Association of Illinois Quadrennial Meeting 2010 held at the ADA Building
More than 150 guests, including faculty and residents at the UIC Department of Orthodontics and orthodontic alumni of UIC, Northwestern University, Loyola University and University of Chicago , attended the Orthodontic Alumni Association of Illinois 2010 Meeting at the ADA Building on September 10 and 11, 2010.
Dr. Laurance Jerrold , who is an orthodontist and legal consultant, gave a two-day presentation on risk management, patient management, and fiscal management.
The Department of Orthodontics also hosted an open house in the department on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Alumni and guests from around the country were impressed by the amazing "transformation" of the Orthodontic Clinic and Residents' Lab in the past year. Dr. Carla Evans, Department Head, and Dr. Vincent Arpino, Executive Director of the Orthodontic Alumni Association of Illinois, honored the donors who contributed to the education of orthodontic professionals in Illinois.
