Class lll facemask alternative

Skin irritations are just one of the many reasons young patients give
for not wearing the face mask.  I have also tried mole skin, cotton,
tissues, etc.

Over the years I have experimented with various maxillary protraction
appliances.  So far the Modified Tandem Appliance has yielded the best
cooperation and subsequently the best clinical changes.  I have
published a case study in the April 2003 JCO.  The link is

BTW, no financial interest.
