Subject: THANKS ESCO and Align Backlog?

First, I want to thank the ESCO people who keep this line of commuication open to us. It is invaluable! I have two quick questions for those with Orthoclear cases? 1...Are you getting ClinChecks? I submitted 20 cases a month ago (11/6) and have none. I submitted a new case a week later and the ClinCheck was up last week. 2...When we submit new Align cases, are we backlogging our own OC cases? So to start someone new, I screw my current patients? Scott Smoron

Assuming the port was controlled to exclude other parts of the maxillofacial region...specifically the salivary glands, it should not be an issue any more than trying to move teeth in any other 69 year old. The side effect are local, not systemic. In deference to Dr. Somayaji, has anyone used Sal-Tropine and had any problems with it.?I'm been using it on adults for 7-7 indirect bonding and love it.?It makes bonding so much simpler.
Any negatives I'm not aware of?

Subject: Another Problem with OC and Align

Any one having the problem I have? Sent in two OrthoClear patients updated records to Align last month (Align had the complete records/impression by November16). The VIP site indicates that neither patient's ClinCheck will be available until March 23. 2007. I have contact my regional rep and Customer Support with no satisfactory response. Somehow a 4+ month wait for ClinCheck is unacceptable. It could easily be 5 or even 6 months until treatment resumes. Is this Align's answer to Patient's First? Is this Align's way of telling me they just don't want me or my patient's as a customer? Records for patients undergoing routine Invisalign treatment submitted at the same time have already had their ClinChecks completed and aligners produced. What gives? Other than being screwed by the corporation.
