Speaking of Lab stone. What is everyone using for Lab Stone. To avoid breaking off the incisors when removing Essix retainers, we've been using dental stone and my lab man doesn't like it. (I do).
And on that topic, how many orthodontists out there are keeping the models for the 7 years past the 18th birthday?
I just spoke to a well respected local orthodontist friend who told me he doesn't even take final models and gives the before models to the patient at the band removal ! He uses the before and after photos as his records.
Any comments on that??
