- Offers individual, couple, group and crisis counseling for students' academic, personal, career and other concerns.
- Conducts workshops on topics such as assertation, choosing a major, relationship skills, stress management, and multicultural concerns for students and faculty groups.
- Consults with faculty and staff regarding student concerns.
- Provides a daily (6:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.) telephone crisis intervention and referral service (In Touch hotline (312) 996-5535).

- Administers placement tests for entering freshman and transfer students, along with national graduate, professional and achievement tests.
- Scans and scores tests and provides test information, consultation, and evaluation for students, staff and faculty.
