a This course fulfills both the quantitative reasoning requirement and the
remaining 5 hrs of the natural sciences requirement.

b Placement test in Spanish required of all students. The elementary and
intermediate Spanish courses are either 100 or both 101 and 102; 103; and
either 105 or 107. Bilingual students take 112, 113, and 114.

c Native Spanish speakers substitute other 200- or 300-level Spanish courses

d Free elective courses must bring the total number of hours to at least 120



NOTE: Span 231, Span 260, Span 261, Econ 210 and Econ 334 are all included in the list of approved courses in cultural diversity.
