Christopher Thompson

Second Year Postgraduate Student

Dr. Christopher Thompson comes from Dublin, Ohio and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2001. In 2005, Dr. Thompson graduated Cum Laude from the Ohio State University with his DDS.

In 2005, Dr. Thompson accepted a Comission as a Captain and served in the United States Army Dental Corps at Fort Riley, Kansas. Captain Thompson served a seven month deployment to Iraq and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal (2 times), the Army Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Medal and the Iraq Campaign Medal. In 2008, Dr. Thompson separated from the service.

Dr. Thompson's research interests focus on the study of neuropathic pain.

Chris is married to Mona and his outside interests include traveling, biking and running.

Dr. Thompson plans to go into private practice upon completion of the program.
