
Nermeen M. Moussa
Second Year Postgraduate Student
Dr. Nermeen M. Moussa comes from Egypt and is currently a resident of Kuwait. She attended Kuwait University earning a Bachelor of Medical Sciences in 2003. In 2006, Dr. Moussa graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, Kuwait with her BDM.
From 2006-2007, Dr. Moussa did Internship Training Program with the Ministry of Health in Kuwait. In 2007, Dr. Moussa attended a Fellowship in Endodontics at the University of Florida.
Dr. Moussa earned Academic Distinction Awards for the years 2000-2006 from Kuwait University and was on the Dean's List Awards for Outstanding Academic & Clinical Performance in 2006. Also in 2006, Dr. Moussa was awarded the IADR/Unilever Travel Award by the International Association for Dental Research in Brisbane, Australia. In 2005, she was awarded the "Best Research Presentation" for IADR Hatton Award-African and Middle East Division of IADR.
Dr. Moussa's area of research interests include lasers in Endodontics, tissue regeneration and diagnostic techniques.
Nermeen's outside interests include volleyball, swimming and traveling.
Dr. Moussa plans to achieve board certification in Endodontics and pursue clinical practice as well as contributing to dental education by teaching and research upon completion of the program.
