Welcome to the Cooperative Engineering Education Program.
As a UIC engineering student, you have the opportunity to gain practical work experience while still in school.
The Engineering Co-op/Internship Office in conjunction with our Corporate Relations efforts, helps students find full time
or part time
engineering employment before graduation.
Participating employers, many located throughout theChicago area, provide employment opportunities in all fields of engineering. Small manufacturers, global corporations, and government agencies look to UIC students for help in solving their unique problems. There are a substantial number of opportunities for qualified engineering students interested in obtaining relevant work experience. The Co-op Office matches employer requirements with student skills, abilities, interests, and background.
It is our goal to register all students eligible to take advantage of these opportunities. With your help, we can fully market UIC's College of Engineering students and their technical abilities to employers.
