Procedure for Participation in the
UIC Engineering Co-op Program

Program Benefits:

  • Free service to all COE students
  • Access to internships from local and national employers
  • Resume Reviews, Mock Interviews, Workshops, Networking, Salary Negotiation, ENGR 289, etc.  Build your resume NOW!!

    Eligibility:
    All College of Engineering students are eligible to register with the Engineering Career Center.

International Students

  • In addition to the above guidelines, approval to work from the UIC Office of International Students as well as the College of Engineering Co-op & Internship Office is required. For students on F-1 status, see International Students links below.

Registration Procedures for All Students

  • Attend a COE Internship Preparation/Registration Workshop OR Schedule an appointment with a staff member of the Engineering Career Center for resume review and overview/authorization of www.uiccareers.com .
  • Once your resume is approved, complete your personal/academic profile and upload your resume in Word or PDF format onto www.uiccareers.com .
  • Log in regularly to view and apply for positions.

Note: All processing is initiated through the UIC Office of International Students and routed through the College of Engineering Co-op & Internship Office.
