Students with Active
Applications in the Engineering Co-op Program
As long as you maintain your application current,
we will continue to reference your credentials for potential matches
with employers' requests. We ask that you update your online profile
and resume at the start of each semester. Please stop by the Engineering
Co-op Office for advice on how to update your resume.
Students should update their registration online
using the UIC Careers website. Feel free to contact us if
you have any questions about any updates.
Students enrolled in
ENGR 289
Students whom obtain cooperative employment from
the Engineering Co-op Program are required to enroll in ENGR 289.
The class requirements are the submission of the following items:
- Letter of Offer stating the position and description
of duties
- Employer
evaluation of student form
- Student
evaluation of employer form
- Paper outlining Co-op experience
- Guidelines:
- items to discuss include your training,
exposure to technology, technical abilities used and learned,
and the impact it may have made to your development as an
engineer
- two to three pages in length (200-500 words),
typewritten, double-spaced
