Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that Professor Farhad Ansari has been elected President of the
International Society for Structural Health Monitoring of Intelligent Infrastructure (ISHMII).

This honor is not surprising as Farhad is known worldwide for his work on structural monitoring,
which includes current projects such as his work on the celebrated Brooklyn Bridge. Please join
me in congratulating Farhad Ansari.
