::: Our Fall 2009 Career Prep Day is scheduled for September 12, 2009 ::: Engineering Career Prep Day February 6, 2009 When students have the chance to interact with alumni volunteers at Career Prep Day, the first questions asked are “How is the job market?” and “What do I need to do to get an interview?” Each September and February, the Engineering Alumni Association and volunteer mentors provide answers. Over 175 students registered for Career Prep Day, which occurs prior to the large Engineering Career Fair held during E-Week. Working with groups and individuals, mentors review resumes and give hints about explaining a GPA or research, whipping up a top notch resume that has no excess verbiage, and being confident about one’s accomplishments. Whether students are looking for a first internship or hunting for a full-time position, engineering mentors are there for our students.
