Engineering Student Leadership Retreat The first-ever Student Leadership Retreat for engineering students, is designed to enhance leadership skills and promote team building amongst the undergraduate engineering student organizations and societies. Sponsored by Caterpillar, The "Passport to Leadership" is a day-long leadership retreat to be held on Saturday, September 17, 2005 from 10:00am to 4:00pm on the UIC Campus. It will be an action-packed day filled with opportunities to learn skills and discuss issues which will help with both current and future leadership responsibilities. The conference topics include: Managing Effective Meetings, Team Building, Presentation Skills, Goal Setting, Networking, Leadership Skill Development, and moving from college-life to the corporate world. Sessions will be presented by professionals in engineering and related fields, many of whom are College of Engineering alums, with diverse work experiences from employers such as International Truck and Engine Corporation, Caterpillar, Northrop Grumman, Department of Energy, Society of Women Engineers, and many more!
