UIC Engineering Alumni Association
Student Leadership Award

This award is given to recognize and encourage students who actively participate in professional societies and assist the College and their fellow students through volunteer activities at UIC. A maximum of 12 awards will be presented in any given year to Junior or Senior students in the College of Engineering. This award consists of a Certificate of Recognition and recipients are honored as invited guests at the EAA spring dinner.

Selection criteria:

• Junior or Senior in the UIC College of Engineering.
• Active member and/or officer of a PESC Society.
• Active supporter of College activities such as E-Week, high school visit program, Engineering 100, EXPO, etc.
  

Members of the UIC-EAA Awards Committee will review applications and select the recipients.

Procedure:

• Student completes and submits application form, including a one paragraph description of a "project that made a difference".
• Application must be signed by the nominator.

Deadline for submission is March 2, 2003. Awards will be presented
at the Spring EAA TechTalk on March 20, 2003.
