Deborah Evans Program Manager, Baxter Healthcare Corporation, Inc. Metallurical Engineering

Debra P. Evans is a Senior Program Manager for the Injectable Formulation Technology (IFT) Business in the Baxter Healthcare's BioPharma Solutions Business. She is responsible for the financial, technical and production performance of this business for Baxter Healthcare.

Prior to joining Baxter she was previously employed at Motorola, Hughes Aircraft and Northrop-Grumman Corporation. For Motorola's Automotive and Industrial Electronics and Telematic Communication Groups she managed several automotive and telematics programs. She managed several Defense Radar and Countermeasure programs for Hughes in California and was Director of Engineering for Hughes' South Carolina facility. For Northrop-Grumman she was responsible for Mechanical Engineering research for several Electronic Countermeasure programs.

She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Material Science and Engineering from Northwestern University. A Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Master's certificate in Program Management from George Washington University.

Debra is a member of the following professional organizations:
American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Healthcare Businesswomen Association (HBA), National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Project Management Institute and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).

Her civic activity includes the University of Illinois Alumni Association serving on the Engineering Alumni Association Board and the University of Illinois-Chicago Electrical Engineering Industrial Advisory Board and the Northwestern University Alumni association serving on the Alumni Admission Committee and the McCormick School Advisory Board. She is also a member of the Pope John XXIII Parent Teacher Association.
