Supplemental Instruction

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is the cornerstone of our academic support program for first-time and continuing students.

SI is available for mathematics, chemistry, physics, and some engineering courses. SIs are conducted by graduate and successful undergraduate students who use materials to supplement the textbook, and also review lectures and exams used in the actual courses. Supplemental Instruction’s benefits include learning problem solving techniques, teamwork, developing efficient study habits and strategies, and improving academic performance and grades.

To register for SI, download the registration form (MS WORD) and submit the completed form to the MERRP office, 1251 SEO.
