Academic Resources
Students are encouraged to regularly visit MERRP.
Prior to registering, many students, along with their faculty advisor's
advice and help from MERRP advisors, will strategically plan their
remaining semesters in order to make the most of their academic
and professional opportunities.
Professional Resources
The Minority Engineering Advisory Board (MEAB)
is composed of engineers and other professionals from various companies
in the Chicago area. Their primary function is to assist MERRP via
scholarships, internships, student support, and corporate support
of MERRP programs. The organizations represented include: Argonne
Nat'l Labs, Boeing, Caterpillar, Excelon, Fermi Nat'l Lab, IBM,
International Truck & Engine, Lucent, Motorola, SBC, US Dept.
of Energy.

MERRP Office
There are computers, study guides, a video library,
and professional preparation reference books available to students.
MERRP Book Library
Academic:
Math, Chemistry,Physics, English, Writing, Career, and Computer
Programming. Course outlines (Schaum's) for many engineering courses.
These allow students to learn the material from solved problem sets
with complete solutions.
Cultural:
Latino and African American ethnic culture
