Department Visits In addition to attending an Open House, you may wish to learn more about the UIC, College of Engineering by speaking with a representative from an academic department. If you wish to speak to a representative from an academic department, it is best to make arrangements before your visit to campus by contacting the specific department directly. If you will be attending an admissions information session and campus tour during your visit to campus, we ask that you please allow a minimum of two hours and fifteen minutes for the information session and tour and that you plan other appointments (financial aid, housing.) on campus in consideration of the scheduled academic department visit. The phone numbers of specific engineering departments are: Bioengineering Chemical Engineering Civil and Materials Engineering Computer Science Electrical and Computer Engineering Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Please note that the Admissions Office does not make arrangements for prospective students to visit with departments. Arrangements should be made by the prospective student in advance of the visit to campus. |
