Copy editing of academic writing (through the University of Chicago Press and freelance jobs) and popular writing (through National PTA, Sun Newspapers, and the Wittenberg Torch); proofreading of academic and popular texts; coordination of multi-stage publication projects among numerous departments (through the University of Chicago Press, National PTA, and training at the University of Denver Publishing Institute)
Jenny Morse
Extensive editorial experience through on-going business clients from checking emails for grammar mistakes to copyediting promotional materials to writing and editing web content. Additional experience as a writing tutor in academia, working with students on everything from homework to dissertations. Familiar with development, copyediting, proofreading, and production in the publishing industry.
Justin Joyce (Indexer)
Primary experience and interest is in indexing, however, I have done work negotiating permissions and annotating/summarizing short selections for inclusion in larger volumes.
Brooke Wonders
Seven years of professional experience copyediting and proofreading books; also served as managing editor for a monthly magazine and a biannual literary journal. Freelance work has included content editing and copyediting for two dissertations, several theses and a health-science textbook.
