Luis Urrea has recently completed 20 years of historical, cultural, and spiritual research for the historical novel, The Hummingbird of God. This book is the story of Teresa Urrea, also known as The Saint of Cabora. Also completing two books of poetry: The Tijuana Book of the Dead, and Piedra; a novel, The House of Broken Angels; and film adaptations of two previous books.
