Literary theory, philosophy, psychoanalysis
|
Ned Lukacher works at the intersections of literary theory, philosophy, and psychoanalysis. His most recent work includes an essay entitled "Asbestos: Jacques Derrida's Philosophy of the Remnant," which will appear in a volume entitled Questions: For Jacques Derrida, edited by Richard Rand (forthcoming from the State University Press of New York), and a book manuscript entitled Reversions: Shakespeare After Derrida (currently under review). He has, over recent years, presented papers at the University of California, Davis, the University of Neuchatel, Switzerland, and the University of Southampton, United Kingdom. His intellectual and pedagogical interests are largely devoted to reconfiguring Shakespeare's place within the histories of psychoanalysis and philosophy.
