MASter's Program
The Graduate Program in English offers the MA degree in English Studies with various concetrations listed below. Applications are accepted once yearly for the fall with an annual deadline of Feb. 1.

The MA degree is an ideal choice for those students who wish to continue their studies for professional development or for further academic work at the PhD level. The rigor and breadth of study required for the degree enable many of our graduates to pursue doctoral degrees at prestigious programs throughout the US. Others use the degree to find jobs or to enhance careers in schools, community organizations, and businesses in the Chicago area and beyond.
