The University of Illinois at Chicago is an exciting place to be studying in the field of English. In 2004, the entire program, undergraduate and graduate programs alike, was completely revised. Students now have more options than ever before, drawing from the varied interests of the faculty and the multitude of opportunities from the city before them. Information on these pages includes both the old and the new curricula. Any questions that cannot be answered from this site should be addressed to the adviser of the individual program in question.
