The EHSO Health and Safety Section and Radiation Safety Section have worked jointly to develop a waste disposal manual designed to provide guidance regarding disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. While this manual was designed primarily for research and clinical laboratories, all personnel at UIC should find useful information.
The following documents are in Adobe Acrobat format, which your computer should be able to read. If not, click on the "Get Acrobat Reader" button below and you will be directed to the Adobe web site where you can download a free copy Adobe Acrobat Reader. Follow their directions to install it on your computer system.
Click on the following links to open the manual. You can then print it or copy the file to your hard drive for further use.
