GUIDELINES FOR NON HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL

  1. Non-hazardous liquids can be drain disposed. Turn on the faucet before pouring the chemical down the drain. After pouring the chemical down the drain, let the water run 5 minutes to flush the pipes.
  2. Non-hazardous solids should be labeled with the “Non-Hazardous Waste” label found on the EHSO webpage. Non-hazardous solids can be disposed in the trash or listed on the “Unwanted Chemical Removal” form for EHSO to collect.
