Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) – The application for federal, state, and institutional aid at UIC. UIC’s priority deadline for filing the FAFSA is March 1 each year.

National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) – Check your federal student loan history online.

UIC Financial Counselor™ – You must complete this entrance/exit counseling every year that you borrow a loan while you are at UIC.

Direct Loan Electronic Promissory Note – Sign an MPN for Direct Stafford, Direct Parent PLUS, and Direct Graduate PLUS loans.

Perkins, HPSL, NSL Promissory Note E-Sign – Sign an MPN for Perkins Loans, Health Professions Student Loans (HPSL), and Nursing Student Loans (NSL).

Enrollment Verification – The Office of Admissions and Records verifies enrollment for in-school loan deferments, scholarships, etc.
