The UIC Convocation is a ceremony to welcome new students to the University of Illinois at Chicago. This event marks the official beginning of a new student's entry into the UIC academic community. All new students are expected to attend this special event. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

UIC Convocation will be immediately followed by the Chancellor's New Student Welcome Block Party. Join us for food, games, prizes, and an opportunity to meet up with your Orientation Leader and your new UIC friends that you met during the summer Orientation.
