The Ceremony

Directions

The UIC Convocation ceremony will be held at the UIC Pavilion located at 525 South Racine, on the northeast corner of Racine Avenue and Harrison Street.  Click here to get directions.

Parking

Parking is available for a $5 fee.  Please click here to view the parking lots available.

Check In

Please plan to arrive for check in by 2:30 p.m.  Check in for parents will be in the UIC Pavilion lobby.

Attire

Dress for the event is casual.  Please wear comfortable clothing. 

Event

The UIC Convocation ceremony will last approximately one hour.  It will include presentations from UIC faculty and administrators and a UIC Flames extravaganza!

The Block Party

The Chancellor's New Student Welcome block party will immediately follow the UIC Convocation ceremony.   Join us in the SRC autocourt for food, fun, and games!

After the ceremony, you will be led from the UIC Pavilion to the SRC autocourt for the block party.
