The Paleontology Laboratory of Roy Plotnick contains complete equipment for fossil preparation and study.

There is a large recirculating flow tank for biomechanical studies, as well as a refrigerated marine aquarium system. The laboratory also contains a Silicon Graphics workstation and personal computers. Students also have access to the facilities and collections of the Field Museum of Natural History.
