Geobiology

Research interests are focused on application of mathematical and statistical models to the understanding of paleontological, stratigraphic, and ecological patterns and processes, as well as investigations of key ecological processes in geologically active systems. Other research interest include long term ecological research in Antarctic Dry Valleys, thermal environments such as Yellowstone National Park, and the use of molecular biomarkers to track changes in species composition and paleoenvironments.
