The UIC Terra Society is a student organization dedicated to understanding the earth, its environment and its resources.

Although most of our members are from the department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, we invite all UIC students from all disciplines to join our society.

Both graduate and undergraduate students in the Terra Society are actively engaged in research and disseminating knowledge in the fields of geology, paleontology, climatology, global change, environmental issues and resource management.  Undergraduate and graduate students from outside the scientific disciplines are welcome to join and engage in active discussions on these issues.
