A SEM image of a labradorite crystal reacted with a solution at pH 10 taken by Bill Bates. The corrugated texture indicates that there is exsolution lamellae present. The areas that are shaded would be more calcic rich lamallae and the areas of high relief would be more sodic rich lamellae.
