What is Awards Day?

During our annual Awards Day in April, the department honors undergraduate minors and majors and graduate students for their achievements. This year, a total of 34 students were honored with awards, ranging from $100 to $15,000.

This event would not be possible without our close relationship with the department's friends and donors. We are very pleased that many of our donors are able to attend the event, and we hope to see many of you at Awards Day in 2009. Last Year's guest speaker was Margreth Trumpi Martin from the Consulate General of Switzerland.

We have been fortunate to be able to use the confreence room of the Jane Addam's Hull-House Museum for the ceremony and reception. This event is a freat opportunity to showcase our students in a formal setting. A program of this year's Awards Day with all awardees is posted though a link on the left.
