Information and Employment Center

The Information and Employment Center assists with accessing and navigating HR information systems such as BANNER,  DART, NESSIE, TIGER, and the UOHR Employment Center. Inquiries can be made in-person or by calling 312-413-4848 (click  here for a list of FAQs ). The Information and Employment Center also has computers that employees may use to access the  listed HR systems.

BANNER is an Enterprise Resource Planning system, an integrated suite of programs that supports the Student, Finance, and  Human Resources functions at the University. Departmental and central administrative staff use the Banner HR-Pay module to  process changes to jobs, employee information, benefits, and pay.

DART is a web-based application that allows departmental access to complete Human Resources transactions and submit them  electronically. Read more…

 

DART allows departments to complete the following transactions on-line and send them to Human Resources  electronically:
- Employee Requisition
- Academic Leave Reports
- Request for Reclassification
- PAPE (Principle Administrative Position Exemption)

DART also contains an Employment Center (EC) which allows departments to:
- Search the applicant database
- Retrieve a Civil Service resume
- Retrieve Academic Resumes
- Post civil service and academic job openings
- Create or edit a department's profile
- Create NESSIE access for new hires-EC New Hire Process

NESSIE is a web-based application that allows employees/new hires to complete HR, Benefits and Payroll transactions  electronically. Employees can also access information and print forms online. Read more…

- Direct Deposit Information
- Employment History Information
- Education Background Information
- Emergency Contact Information

Employees can view the following information via NESSIE:
- Notification of Appointment
- Earnings Statements
- Benefits Statements
- Civil Service Statutes and Rules
- Benefit Announcements
- Benefits Frequently Asked Questions & Answers

NESSIE allows employees to fill out the following forms on-line and send them to Human Resources electronically:
- Tuition Waiver Form
- Benefits-Change in Family Status Form
- Shared Benefits-Donating to the Pool Form
- Change in 403 (b) Form Tax Deferred Retirement Program
- Civil Service Exam Request Form

The following are some of the forms that can be printed from NESSIE:
- Certification Statement for Enrollment of Dependent
- Dental Claim Notice Form
- Medical Claim Notice Form
- 403 (b) Tax Deferred Retirement Plans
- Family And Medical Leave Application
- Child of Employee attending other State University Tuition Waiver Form
- Classification Specifications

TIGER is an electronic environment maintained by the University of Illinois Office of Human Resources that enables external   organizations to access selected University of Illinois information.

UOHR Employment Center is a web-based application, which allows current and prospective employees to apply for employment   at  the University. Read more…
